No, I'm pretty sure that John McCain has control of his faculties. My question is really about the American people. Hello? Are you watching, gang? Do you see this?
How can this avoid your field of view? How can you possibly miss this?
Yep. I was actually done with these sorts of diaries, but I find the notion of a "last call" kind of cathartic. As such, lemme lay out some of my favorites. I will not discuss this further, at least not until sufficient time has passed to make all of this so much history. Still, there's a few moments in our primary season that I'd like to remember. It's important to note that some of this stuff happened before the PUMAs went all feral, but the people who pushed this idiocy are the same ones (mostly anyway) who became PUMAs.
Anyway, here we go!
1) ZOMG Senator Obama flipped Hillary the bird!
"I think it's serious. . . . It's a serious situation, but there's a lot of things we need to do. We have a lot of work to do and I'm afraid it's a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq/Pakistan border."

Thank you Senator McCain! I was unaware that there was a sensitive situation on the Iraq/Pakistan border. In fact, I was unaware that these two countries shared a border. In fact, I'm not sure they know they share a border.
Obama needs to be worried about making a gaffe? Can the press actually cover this stuff or what?
So, come my next birthday on January 21st, after all of the inaugural balls have come and gone, what's your wish list? What do we want from our shiny new President and our enlarged majority in both houses of the Congress? What's your wish list?
Care to see mine?

We came way too close to a President Rudy Giuliani. I'm not saying he was ever really the most likely winner, but the fact that it was ever even plausible scares the hell out of me.
Anybody else really want to consider how amazingly lucky we are here?
Good afternoon, all!
John McCain's not a bad guy, really. As Republicans go, well, we could easily do worse. I'm okay with him having a government job, good health care (he needs it, frankly), and a healthy retirement plan. The good news is that this honorable public servant already has a job - he's a Senator.
Let's keep him there. I don't want to promote him. Anybody here think he's done a good enough job to warrant a better office? New digs are nice and all, but I think he's got a good gig now.
Yep. This issue has basically taken over at least one (if not two) diaries. It should be discussed on its own.
I'll take the Obamacans over PUMA right now, folks. Seriously I cannot stress this enough. I'll take a reluctant ally over an eager opponent any day of the week.
Oh, by the way:
There's like a ton more Obamacans than PUMAs.
Yep. $52 million. Wow.
I want to be clear here. A good number of Senator Clinton's top donors have been helping, and I appreciate what they're doing. We have a race to win and they're doing their part. Also, nobody is forced to give money and if somebody really doesn't want to give to Senator Obama's campaign I completely respect that. I ain't kidding, either. Donations are personal, and they signify a strong belief in a candidate or his/her views.
All that being said, I hope Hillary's Bundlers Get a Clue!
